Elastosil Adhesive G601 (Equivalent to CHEMOSIL 211)

This product is a multi-purpose primer which is responsible for metal to rubber connection and it is considered as the first member of metal-rubber adhesives chain. Moreover, for huge metallic surfaces instantly rubber-lining operations, Elastosil is responsible for protection of sandblasted or shot-blasted metallic surfaces from oxidation until applying the next adhesive. The gray color of this primer allows better discrimination and control of glued spots while applying the other layers of adhesives possessing generally black color.

Elastosil G601 is a heat-active primer for adhering rubbers based on NBR, NR, SBR, BR, IR, IIR and their alloys to steel, steel alloys, stainless steel, aluminum, copper alloys and glass during the vulcanization process. In order to provide a flawless adhesion, it is better to utilize Elastosil B818 as adhesive along with Elastosil G601 as primer.

To achieve optimal adhesion, it is better to apply a thin layer of primer and adhesive on the neat and dust-free surface.
